Ending Explained Why did they make Vaughn shoot Marcus? Our only complaint is that there are some strange weird dialogue choices in places and the excessively long camera pans at the beginning that could paint the movie as a little amateurish.

The pub scenes, in particular, paint a bleak picture of the village and conveys an underlying angst. The atmosphere in the village is so thick you can taste it. Jack Lowden (plays Vaughn) puts in a convincing performance and you can clearly see his evolution throughout the movie particularly in the last show where he’s staring at us in the camera.
